Responsible conduct has always been part of Ludwig Schokolade’s identity as a business. As a KRÜGER GROUP company, we are guided by clear values and binding directives, which lay the foundation for ethical conduct, responsible decision-making, and long-term relationships with employees, customers, and business partners.

At Ludwig Schokolade, responsible conduct is based on clear values, binding rules, and an established corporate culture. As part of the KRÜGER GROUP, we are integrated into Group-wide governance structures. A materiality assessment identified the areas of corporate culture as well as corruption and bribery prevention as particularly relevant.

Integrity, shared values, and responsible conduct are the factors that shape our day-to-day at Ludwig Schokolade. Among other things, the Group-wide Code of Conduct for the KRÜGER GROUP provides guidance here. It defines binding standards for integrity and lawful conduct, and it applies to employees and suppliers alike. Regular training courses facilitate the implementation of these standards in day-to-day operations. In addition, there are reporting channels available that allow violations to be reported confidentially.

The prevention of corruption and bribery is part of the KRÜGER GROUP policies; these policies apply throughout the Group. At Ludwig Schokolade, too, preventing corruption and bribery is a hard-and-fast foundation of responsible conduct. Training courses and clearly defined internal processes facilitate the implementation of these requirements.
